When inspiration strikes, I let my emotions guide me, often without a sketch. Whether it's the energy of a lime green hoodie with spirals of black tie-dye or the warmth of a pink and red creation symbolizing deep affection, my work reflects my emotional landscape. Music plays a vital role in my process, with songs on repeat for hours as I pour my feelings into each garment. ELIJAH RED started as an escape from depression, not as a business. The brand was born from the need for mental health maintenance, where painting became a lifeline. In 2016, during a challenging time, I found solace in creating a series of shirts that symbolized a rebirth for me, turning dreams into wearable art. Fast forward to today, and I am fully immersed in my creative force, finding joy and purpose in art. I learned that ignoring your calling can lead to depression, and it's essential to embrace your unique path.
